Preferred Brokers

Interactive Brokers

Experience Level: Advanced

Platform: Mobile, Desktop, and Web based

Interactive Brokers has been my main broker for over 6 years, since I was an active intraday trader. They are highly customizable and cater to the professional. However, for beginners or long term investors, many of their features are unnecessary. If you want to play around with different market orders, routing to various market makers, shorting, or trading pre/after market hours, then I highly recommend Interactive Brokers. Otherwise, if you do not expect to be trading everyday or every week, I would recommend either Webull or Robinhood.

Experience Level: Beginner to Moderate

Platform: Mobile, Desktop, and Web based

Webull is one of the best up and coming brokers. They are easy to setup and very user-friendly. However, compared to Robinhood, they have many more technical features such as charting, volume analysis, customized time frames, and alerts. My favorite is their price alert feature which allows me to set a price target for a specific stock. This allows me to filter through the "noise" from daily price fluctuations and focus on the fundamental research side. They are quickly becoming my preferred broker choice.

Robinhood

Platform: Mobile and Web based

Robinhood is one of the most beginner friendly brokers available. Their setup process can be completed in under 10 minutes (not including account approval time) and provides a great user experience for many new traders/ investors. I used Robinhood to experiment with Options and Cryptocurrency trading. Highly recommend for anyone new to investing in stocks or have a simple investing approach.
